Chlorodifuoromethane is a colorless, non-toxic, non-flammable and transparent liquefied gas .it has excellent thermal and chemical properties , and not corrode metals, chlorodifluoromethane is used as pure or in mixture for refrigeration (medium-high temperatures),raw material for PTFE production and intermediate for Halon 1211 production . it is also a blowing agent for extruded polystyrene and polyurethane foams.
